Capstone Travel Group - Technology Overview
The Starbucks Neighborhood Web site with hyperlocal background content and barista-generated, authentic content will be viewable on the Internet and on an iPhone. We plan to use www.utterli.com for the barista-generated content (audio, video and pictures). Utterli posts will be automatically posted to the appropriate page on the Web site via an RSS feed that looks for tags on the Utterli posts.

The Starbucks Neighborhood Web site is iPhone-compatible, featuring authentic barista-generated content that is inherently hyperlocal in nature. In order to populate the site, baristas can author content by calling a number on any phone to publish media via Utterli. The Starbucks Neighborhood has been enabled to use the third-party RSS feed produced by Utterli to automatically pull audio, video and pictures from utterli.com. Using user-generated tags, the site can publish relevant content to corresponding pages within the Starbucks Neighborhood Web site.

And, in order to get the barista-generated content to the Web site in real time, our site will use an RSS feed to pull audio, video and pictures from www.Utterli.com. Using tags, the site will recognize which Web page within the site to post the content to.
